Andy Dent, Principal and Founder of Chaptico Hundred, leads with inspiration and imagination to develop transformative work with clients and cultivate the emerging Chaptico Hundred Collective. With expertise in geospatial science, GIS, data science, technology, public health, management, strategy, partnership development and more, Andy has worked with the US federal government, state/local government, private consulting, and academia. Since 2008, Andy has directed the Geospatial Research Analysis & Services Program (GRASP) at CDC/ATSDR, a comprehensive geospatial science, analysis, and technology program focused on examining the relationship between place and health. Employing 92 staff with an annual average budget of $15.9M, GRASP supports CDC, ATSDR, HHS, EPA, academia, state/local partners, NGOs, international ministries of health, and the public health community. Andy has presented at multiple conferences and authored multiple peer-reviewed articles. Committed to education, he has served as adjunct professor at Emory University and Georgia State University. Andy believes that success in the work of an organization rests in its ability to sustain exploratory progress as enduring and meaningful organizational change.
