Hua Lu is a skilled GIS professional with 20+ years' experience in spatial analysis and GIS system development. Proficient in all aspects of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and processing, including large-scale geospatial data processing, U.S. Census population data, spatial analysis, visualization, reporting; Esri ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online and web application development (experience builder, story map, Hub, etc.), and geodatabase management/administration. She is also an experienced public health researcher with good understanding of survey data such as BRFSS, small area estimation method, SAS, and Python programming and experienced chronic disease surveillance data system development and management, such as PLACES and Chronic Disease Indicators.
