Julie is an accomplished management professional with over 35 years of expertise in operations, strategy, program/project management, and health policy. As a former Deputy Director at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Julie led numerous cross-functional teams on projects and strategic business initiatives focused on community health promotion and environmental health. She played a pivotal role as the policy lead during the Ebola outbreak response and managed the full system development life cycle for an environmental health portfolio management system. Additionally, Julie served as a lead health policy analyst, conducting policy analysis, financial communications, budget formulation, and providing expertise on CDC appropriations and legislative processes. She holds a B.A. English from the State University of New York, Plattsburgh and several Project Management course certifications.
